At this time of year many people like to make donations to favorite causes to take advantage of the tax deduction. Here in Rosemont we have that opportunity by making a donation to our Rosemont Community Foundation, our own 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization that works with the Rosemont Community Association to improve and protect our community. What better way to show you care about where you live, and help keep it an appealing place. You can donate on line at the link at the top of this web site, or by mailing your donation to RCF at PO Box 277194, Sacramento, CA 95827. And if you are 70 ½ and you have an IRA, remember you need to take a mandatory minimum withdrawal, which can be made directly to your charity and not be counted as your taxable income. You financial advisor can help with this. So, take advantage of your year-end spirit of giving and help support you community! And have a Happy Christmas and Holiday Season.
