Even though we are getting rains, the drought is not over. So during these wet periods be sure you have turned off any automatic sprinkler systems so you are not unnecessarily using water, especially on lawns. But be sure that your trees and large plants get enough water so you don’t lose them. When our dryer months return, you can re-start your irrigation systems – but even then keep water use to a minimum.
