Once again the Rosemont community showed it knows how to celebrate, especially when we have something as great as our community to be the center of our attention. The well over one thousand attendees enjoyed free food, entertainment, informative displays and fun rides for all ages. This annual tradition has become a highlight of the year here, and anyone who misses it regrets it. This year we focused on both the 10th anniversary of the event and the 60th anniversary of the Rosemont community itself. We thank all who made the event a success, from the generous sponsors – particularly Teichert and SMUD – to the many organizations and agencies displaying, to the many volunteers who brought everything together in the months of planning as well as the day itself. It was a great show of what a strong vibrant community can do! So watch for the 2019 edition next summer, and plan to participate, or at least attend and enjoy it.
