The Rosemont Community Association will have its annual Santa Parade and Toy drives on Sunday, December 9th and Monday, December 10th. The parade on December 9th will start and end at Golden Empire Elementary School located at 9045 Canberra Drive. The parade on Monday, December 10th will start at James Marshall Elementary School located at 9525 Goethe Road with a short stop at Golden Pond and end at Rosemont Community Park at 9326 Americana Way. The parades will start at 6:00 p.m. and we anticipate that they will end at 7:30.
Good Jo Coffee will serve free beverages to all volunteers, participants, and spectators starting at 7:30. They will be out in front of Golden Empire School on Sunday night and at Rosemont Community Park on Monday night. If the parade isn’t coming by your street this year, please feel free to gather at the end points and enjoy tasty drinks and good company. You can donate gifts during the parade and at the end points of the parade. Additionally the family at 3449 Southport (with the lighted train) will again be taking toy donations up to and including the evening of the parade. The parade will make a brief stop at this location to pick up the toys. Toy’s will be donated to the Sacramento Sheriff’s Department East Command, serving the Rancho Cordova and Rosemont areas and toys will be donated to families in need in our area.
