003If you were not at the Rosemont Community Park on Saturday, August 22, you missed a lot of fun with a lot of great neighbors. Over 1,200 people of all ages participated in the free event and enjoyed the rides, the informative booths, the games, displays, and free food. Many local businesses and agencies had booths with useful information and answers to the many questions people had. Capital Christian Center provided a large team of volunteers who were a great help in setting up table and games, and provided the several bounce houses that kept youngsters quite occupied and happy. Numerous elected officials joining the celebration including Rep. Ami Bera, Sen, Richard Pan, Assemblyman Ken Cooley, Supervisor Don Nottoli, SCUSD Trustee Christina Pritchett, and CRPD board members, Terri Leimback, Brian Danzl, Mike Yearwood and Rick Sloan.

RCA is grateful to the hundreds of businesses and organizations and agencies who participated and provided useful information to our Rosemont residents. We are also most grateful to the dozens of volunteers who helped organize this fun event that truly celebrates the many assets and attributes of our Rosemont community. It is a perfect example of what makes Rosemont a great place to live and work. Let’s keep working together to make it even better! Watch this web site for photos of the event.
