Programs
Over its more than 50 years of existence, RCA has strived to maintain Rosemont as a vibrant and wonderful place to live. None of this would be possible without the support of the countless volunteers and local businesses that work hard to keep Rosemont a wonderful place. Below is a list of programs that RCA provides.

SAFETY
Neighborhood Watch
Neighborhood Watch (NW) is a group of people living in the same geographic area who want to make their neighborhood safer by working together with local law enforcement to reduce crime and improve their quality of life.

CLEAN & SAFE
Graffiti Abatement
Since 2011, a small group of volunteers have removed well over 600 graffiti tags or markings within Rosemont. RCA is always looking for volunteers and/or donations.

CLEAN & SAFE
Kiefer Cleanup
Since 2007, RCA members have led an effort to keep Kiefer Blvd. clean of trash and debris. RCA volunteers conduct a quick and easy community service that typically takes less than two hours once every three months.

HOLIDAYS
Santa Parade & Toy Drive
Each December RCA partners with the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Toy Drive and sponsors a Santa Parade. With the support of the Sacramento Metro Fire Department, Santa tours Rosemont and collects toys for needy children in our area.

In 2012 RCA established a Welcome Bag program in which volunteers assemble and deliver welcome bags to new Rosemont residents.

NEIGHBORS
Neighborhood Libraries
Rosemont has 21 neighborhood libraries distributed throughout the community to promote literacy. Some are owned by RCA, and others are privately owned.

YOUTH
Carol Arbini-McFarland Scholarship
In order to promote, support and reward community involvement, the Rosemont Community Association offers a scholarship to a graduating high school senior who lives in Rosemont and who has demonstrated both exemplary civic engagement and academic merit.
