Rosemont is a friendly Sacramento County neighborhood located between the City of Sacramento and the City of Rancho Cordova. We are bounded by Folsom Blvd. in the north, South Watt Ave to the west, Jackson Road to the south and Bradshaw Road to the east.
The Rosemont Community Association (RCA) was founded in 1959 and is a non-profit association working with home owners, renters and businesses to make Rosemont a great neighborhood in which to live and work. RCA sponsors fun annual events, service activities, helps keep our community clean and safe, and represents this area in public policy, planning and program formation.
RCA is a voluntary membership organization and is NOT a homeowners association. RCA works with local agencies, particularly the County and the Sheriff’s Department, to assure that Rosemont remains an attractive community for both residents and businesses. RCA also formed the Rosemont Community Foundation (RCF), a 501(c)(3) organization, to help fund the many programs that RCA and RCF organizes to ensure that Rosemont remains a thriving community.
Rosemont’s tree-lined streets, multi-purpose parks, and proximity to many Sacramento amenities are just a few of the reasons Rosemont is a great place to live, work and play! We’re excited about all the great things going on in our community, and we hope you are too!
Rosemont was first developed in the late 1950’s and is located in an unincorporated area of Sacramento County. Rosemont is currently bolstered by over 100 businesses, 7 schools, multiple churches, six parks, and approximately 22,000 residents. Rosemont contains 4 light rail stations, several bus routes, and has easy access to US 50.
Rosemont also has multiple recreational and entertainment venues including a golf course, a roller rink and one of the last drive-in theaters in the Sacramento area. Rosemont is less than a mile from the great American River Parkway. Rosemont is a brief 15 minute drive to downtown Sacramento and even closer to the employment areas of Rancho Cordova.
