Hi, My deepest condolences on the loss of the Rosemont community member and his family I wish for peace and easiness during this time for them…… our prayers go out to the family.
I missed a call from you guys asking if i wanted to be a part of the Rosemont community event again this year on August 22…..Would definitely love to do it again, such great success! We passed out more than 100 free school supplies bags, candy, raffle prizes and anti-bully awareness information! My daycare crew and had such a wonderful time thank you for the opportunity to be a part of something so great and fun! Looking forward to handing out free school supplies again and spreading more awareness on bullying! Please if you could send me the information on how to be a vendor again that would be great! 916-248-3633 or email fatimah1992@yahoo.com.
Thank you, Catherin and the Nannybear child care crew!

I would like to start a cornhole league/program with Rosemont community. I have lived in this area for years now, and really enjoy the game of cornhole. It’s one of those games that’s addicting and fun for everyone, youth/adults/seniors. Please let me know if you would be interested.
If you are interested in heading up a league, please feel free to join us at our next board meeting for further discussion.
Thank you for your interest in Rosemont.
I recently saw a news story explaining that it was illegal to park cars on non-paved surfaces. Either that triggered something in ME, or else doing that has increased throughout our area. Is it illegal in Sacramento County to do this? As I travel through Rosemont, I’ve noticed several houses that have one or more cars parked on the front lawns. Not sure if the are others, I only drive two or three streets to get out of Rosemont.
At 5408 Huntsman (between Rosemont and Kiefer) there is trash in front of a home. Looks like they are waiting for a pick-up but it has been there over a week.
At 3352 Huntsman (between Rosemont and Caldera/Huntsman) the occupants have been piling various debri near their driveway.
It makes the neighborhood look trashy! What can be done?
On February 23, 2017, there will be a community meeting hosted by county supervisor Don Notoli.
It will be held at Sierra Enterprise Elementary on Hedge Ave, at 6:30 p.m.
The focus of the meeting is the illegal dumping of trash on Hedge Avenue. The Rosemont neighborhood is also effected by the piles of trash in and surrounding the area. Topics to discuss will include code enforcement by posting signs, possible lighting, surveillance, and organizing residents and businesses to assist in keeping Hedge Ave clean and hazard free.
I received your “mysterious” letter today referring to the five major developments that could or will impact our neighborhood adversely. Can you please expand upon that a bit more please.
Thank you
Beginning June 1, 2017, and lasting until Thanksgiving, the Goethe Loop Farmers’ Market will be held on Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the parking lot of the Sanitation Districts, located at 10060 Goethe Road. This is a new market, so come out, show your support for local farmers and vendors, and enjoy the fun and community! For more info, contact Bernie at 876-6071.
Hello!
We were wondering if non-profits were able to have booths at your upcoming event Truck Mania at the Rosemont Park.
What will take for us to have a booth? We are from the Emerging Latinos Leadership Foundation a nonprofit organization. Our goal and commitment towards our communities will be helping the citizens to register or update their registrations to vote.
I sent an email to info@rosemontca.org and go the mailer-daemon back from .
My question is…
… “Hi I was wondering if there’s any community ordinances available on line??
I have a neighbor that has yard/garage sales throughout the week and leaves “stuff” on the sidewalk for free…
…. it’s like he’s running a flea market or swap meet in his front yard,
I’m not sure something like that would require a permit, but it’s the junk that’s getting to be an eyesore.”
Could someone email me or call me about this question.
Thanks
My dog was attacked my two large white & black dogs on Mayhew Road yesterday morning about 9:00 A.M.. Luckily, a truck stopped to help me; it looks like the dog owner let the dogs go off leash. My dog is at the emergency vet. Hopefully she will survive, but the vet bills are high. I called animal control about the issue, although I’ve seen this guy’s before walk his dogs, I don’t where he live. I would like to get the word about this guy & his dog. Can someone please help me.
Thanks to some awesome Rosemont neighbors who cleaned up the mess at the entrance to Rosemont off of Manlove. The homeless had left odds and ends plus 2 Sav-Mart carts. There were also 2 tires left on the sidewalk. These fine neighbors cleaned up all of it! ?
I’ve been trying to get some assistance with the Rosemont Post Facebook page, this may be the wrong avenue, but I’ve reached out to every ‘posted’ administrator of the site and have still not gotten a response. Is the page still active?
The website needs to be updated to include calendar events through the end of 2023. When and where is the Santa parade? It is four weeks away and nothing has been announced or posted.
