RCA members had an excellent chance to ask questions of their local elected officials and agency representatives at the recent annual membership meeting on May 13. Assemblyman Ken Cooley, Supervisor Don Nottoli and School Trustee Christina Pritchett offered updates from their respective offices and provided answers to a wide range of concerns voiced by attendees. Some dozen agencies and organizations had tables where people could get information and chat about issues on their minds. This annual gathering is a great opportunity for Rosemont residents to address their common concerns and look to the future of their community. RA President Terry Dugan challenged attendees to begin conversations among themselves and with friends and neighbors about what they wanted Rosemont to become. “Many plans are developing around us, and if we don’t influence them we may have things done to us we don’t like.”
