Rosemont citizens will want to hear the briefing on County Measure B on the November ballot at the Oct. 6 RCA Board meeting, because it will directly affect your and how you move about the Sacramento area. Measure B proposes a half-cent sales tax throughout the County to fund a variety of transportation projects from street improvements and widenings to improvements in public transit systems. In the Rosemont area the measure would generate funds to make improvements on South Watt, Folsom, Bradshaw and Jackson, all major arterials that serve our community. Come to the meeting at 7pm at Atonement Church, 9242 Kiefer Blvd., to learn the details and ask questions.
