Too many people who live in Rosemont don’t know it, and it’s hard to develop a pride in your community when you don’t know what it is. So we’re looking for suggestions how we can help more people know they live in Rosemont and that there are resources here to help them keep their community appealing. In case you don’t know, the official boundaries of Rosemont are Folsom Blvd. on the north, Bradshaw Rd. on the east, Jackson Hwy on the south, and Watt Ave. on the west. That area includes about 4 square miles, some 7,700 addresses, and about 22,000 great people. We have signs and banners at many entrances to Rosemont, and we hold numerous fun community events throughout the year attended by thousands. But we still seem to be missing connections with many more. A good way to spread the word is if everyone reading this article contacts one or two neighbors and tells them they, too, live in Rosemont, and that they should be members of RCA to help enhance their community, we could begin to spread the good news and get more folks engaged.
