As part of RCA’s Annual Toy Drive in conjunction with our Santa Parade, Shelby Ann Reed, an 8th grader at Einstein Middle School, organized an on-campus toy drive that supplied an impressive amount of toys to add to RCA’s effort supporting the Sheriff’s Department Toy Drive. Not only did Ms. Reed’s efforts provide many toys for needy kids, it helped introduce her schoolmates to the experience and satisfaction of philanthropy, giving that helps others. This is but one more example of the kind of people, young and old, that we have here in Rosemont, and another reason why we have such a great community. Our thanks and congratulations to Shelby and her schoolmates!
