DESCRIPTION:In anticipation of the need for increased food supplies during the government shutdown\, RCA will be holding a joint food drive to benefit both of our local Rosemont food closets at Atonement Lutheran Church and Elevation of the Holy Cross Orthodox Church. \nIf you are unable to come to the Food Drive\, you may drop off items at The Sandwich Spot in the TS Food Mart shopping center between November 3-14. \nThank you in advance for your generosity.

DESCRIPTION:Ho! Ho! Ho! Santa is taking to the streets of Rosemont again\, not once\, but twice!! The December 9 parade will be on the south side of Kiefer Blvd. starting at Primrose Park\, and on December 10\, the parade will switch to the north side of Kiefer Blvd. starting at Rosemont Community Park. Both parades begin at 6:00 pm. Accompanying the parade will be elves passing out candy and after Santa goes by\, the toy pickup vehicle will be happy to receive any new\, unwrapped toys you’d like to contribute to the Sheriff’s Toy Project. It’s a magical night you won’t want to miss! DESCRIPTION:Rosemont’s little Earth Day Party will return this year to celebrate our planet\, what it has to give us\, and how we can take care of it. Pick up your “Passport” at the registration table and collect free snacks and raffle tickets. Get all your Passport boxes checked to win a prize. \nOrganizations will be on hand to give out information and answer your questions on bees\, composting\, gardening\, power\, and more. Kids will be happy to see the “Earth Zone” return with lots of inflatable globes to throw and kick around. A great day for fun-filled learning!
