June 28:          Estate planning

Covers the need to make good workable plans if you want to have a say in how your assets transfer upon your death; if you don’t make plans state law will control who gets what; why it is important to make these plans early, even for your children

July 26:           Insurance & financial risk management

Covers how to determine how to protect yourself and family from risks; what kinds of insurance to consider, and how to adapt to your changing needs

August 30:      Retirement planning & social security

It’s never too early to plan for your later years. Learn options you have and the pros and cons of each so you can survive when you no longer (or can’t) work; learn what options you have with Social Security to get all the benefits you’ve earned.

Sept. 27:         Identity theft & miscellaneous financial topics

Identity theft can happen to any of us and it creates headaches and costly problems. Learn what you can do to minimize your, and your family’s, risk of having your ID stolen and your accounts drained. We’ll also cover other topics not already addressed in this series.

October 25:    Wealth planning, hiring professionals, and recap

This session will “put it all together” as we cover how to determine your goals and options to achieve them, then how to act on them.

November 29  Debt, Credit & Budgeting

This subject began this series and we are bringing it back sine it is so important if you are to do effective financial planning. Learn how to get out and stay out of bad debt, how to effectively use credit without getting into trouble, and how to make a budget you that will make you happy.
