On Saturday, May 16, a team of dedicated volunteers, Alicia Jacobus and Anthony Osuna, pressure washed the dirty and stained wall on the south side of Kiefer between Arderly and Tallyho to ready it for a crew of County painters to give it a fresh new look and help keep our main street looking decent. Then on Tuesday, May 19, the County crew put that fresh new coat of paint on the wall. Take a look at it next chance you get. This is just one more example of what the good people of Rosemont are willing to do to help keep our community one of which we can be proud. We truly appreciate all their work, and invite others to join them next time they are out removing graffiti and cleaning our community. Let’s keep Rosemont graffiti-free!
I signed up to help with graffiti removal at the RCA annual meeting recently. The Premier Gardens wall on Goethe Road was tagged on 5/16 or later with the words “R.I.P. l’il Al,” which I believe is a reference to Albert Alexander, age 19, who was shot dead on Lincoln Village Drive near Bradshaw on the afternoon of 5/16/15. Is this a gang related homicide? How can I help to get the graffiti removed as soon as possible?
If you are interested in volunteering please email graffiti@rosemontca.org
I volunteered for the clean up of the wall along Keifer between Arderly and Tallyho and this is how I signed up. Hope this helps.
Hope to see you at the next graffiti clean up day.
