Recently a house that has long been a problem to the neighborhood was “shut down.” After years of complaints about illegal activities taking place there, a team lead by our POP Officer and the Sheriff’s Department, along with the District Attorney, succeeded in evicting and arresting the occupants, and fencing off the yard so “customers” can no longer visit there. This is an example of the persistence of neighbors and the dedication of law enforcement, and RCA thanks both for their patient efforts over such a long time. They are an inspiration to all of us, and an example we all should follow if ever we encounter any problem even remotely similar – which hopefully we never will. Congratulations to all who helped bring about this successful improvement to Rosemont.
