One of the best ways to help prevent crime in your neighborhood is to be part of an active Neighborhood Watch program. Already Rosemont has some 2 dozen such programs, but we need many more to have maximum benefit for all. They are easy to start and fun to have, because they provide a wonderful chance to get to know your neighbors – who like you are nice people. The ideal NW group includes 8-15 homes within view of each other so you can observe for unusual comings and goings. Then members have each other’s contact information in case something seems amiss, as well as knowledge of how to report suspicious activities. RCA can help you form a group, and has special Rosemont NW signs for you to post in your neighborhood. Contact RA at info@rosemontca.org or at 916-936-1959 and we’ll help get you started.
