On a gloomy Saturday morning January 9 a record 24 people turned out to help clean up trash along Rosemont’s main street, Kiefer Blvd., between Watt Ave and Mayhew. But with so many hands we were able to extend the cleanup down to the High School, and still be doing in 90 minutes before the rains fell. Now we have a nice clean street again. Our tremendous thanks to Jenny Opp and our many Rosemont neighbors in the LDS Church who turned out in large numbers, kids and adults alike, to serve our community. This is a great example of people caring for each other and their community – something for which Rosemont is famous. Our next Kiefer Cleanup day is April 2, so mark your calendar now to join the fun. A record number of our neighbors, most from the LDS Church, turned out to help with the quarterly Kiefer Cleanup project. Our great thanks to all who helped!
