At the July 6 RCA Board meeting we will begin with several short briefings of interest to the entire community. Sac Metro Fire District Board member Ted Wood will report on some of the latest programs and status at the District, which of course, is Rosemont’s fire department. If you have questions, be sure to come and ask him. Then we will learn about a new construction technology pathway program at Rosemont High to help interested students be prepared for that needed specialty. On the regular agenda the board will deal with current law enforcement issues, County programs affecting Rosemont, several grants for which RCA has applied, plans for the August 12 Celebration of Community, the July 7 Food Truck Fest, and RCA’s July 25 workshop on how to retire well. The board will also elected its officers for 2017-18 and adopt its budget for the year. As always, everyone is welcome to attend and learn what’s happening in Rosemont.
