Join others at the RCA Board meeting on Oct. 5 and learn about some of the programs available to youth who are in custody at the Juvenile Detention Facility on Kiefer Blvd. Youth who are there are not simply locked up, but have available important services intended to help them return to healthy and productive lives upon their release. The briefing will cover medical services provided, current health care concerns of youth, patient education program, and quality improvement process study developed to ensure continuity of care after release of facility. This briefing will be in the first few minutes of the RCA meeting, before we deal with the other issues before the board. All are welcome to attend. The meeting is at 7:00pm at Atonement Church, 9242 Kiefer Blvd.
