RCA has received offers from several local high school students to help some residents who for whatever legitimate reason are unable to keep their front yards halfway decent looking. These properties make the rest of the block look bad, no matter how well-kept other properties are. So if you have such a neglected property near you, we suggest first politely contacting the resident to see if he or she can clean it up (RCA can provide you with a generic template letter you can use). If that doesn’t get results, and the resident is for some legitimate reason unable to get the job done (e.g. out of work, injured or ill, elderly, etc.), contact RCA at info@rosemontca.org or 936-1959 and we will see if our volunteer students can make a contact and offer to help. Let’s not let our community look bad if good neighbors can help.
