Rosemont is fortunate to have six nice parks that are well used by lots of people and families. But occasionally, as in all parks everywhere, a few of the users seem to be “users.” Unfortunately when those doing drugs are present, all others tend to stay away. And occasionally, those users sometimes leave behind items that a dangerous, like needles or even drugs. Recently we saw a report that a dog being walked in a park apparently ingested some pills that had been dropped and had to get treatment by a vet. At least it was not a child.
RCA has helped post in all our parks special “park watch” signs on light poles with the phone numbers to report any dangerous or illegal situation. It is up to all of us residents and park users to help keep our parks clean and safe. So if you are in a park and see a dangerous situation or suspicious behavior happening, immediately call 874-5111 and report it. If it is not an immediate danger, call 874-5115 to report it. But whatever, DO REPORT IT!
We just came back from a weekend getaway and noticed that our welcome bear was stolen from our front porch. Is there a phone number for our Neighborhood Watch that I can contact?
