In the early morning of June 28 the large sign at Rosemont Plaza was totally destroyed by fire. As of publishing time the cause has not been officially reported. All nearby landscaping was also burned, but no injuries were reported. The sign had been in some disrepair and had been home to a large hive of bees. RCA hopes the sign will quickly be replaced with one more attractive and current, ideally as part of revitalization of the Plaza itself.
Wasn’t there someone setting fires in Rosemont just a couple of months ago? Like a tree set on fire, and a fence?
