PARADE MAPS ARE NOW AVAILABLE!

Remember if you find your street on the route to decorate so Santa and his elves can enjoy!

Come one, Come all!

Santa Claus is coming to town!

The Annual RCA Santa Parade is coming to Rosemont Tuesday, December 5, 2023 for our community members that live on the South Side of Kiefer Blvd. This is a time old tradition and once again we wouldn’t miss a chance to spread the Joy from one end to the other. The Parade starts on Canberra way at Golden Empire Elementary School, and departs at 6 P.M.  Santa and his “elves” will make their way down one street and around to another. As the Santa Parade makes their way down each street the “elves” pass out Candy Canes for all to enjoy. On this first night of Santa’s flight he will make his way to the GumDrop house for a short stop at his first donation spot. Don’t fret if you miss Santa on his first ride of Rosemont, he will be making a second appearance for our community members that live on the North Side of Kiefer Blvd. on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, departing once again at 6 P.M. Continuing to spread the cheer and spirit of Christmas the Parade starts at the Rosemont Community Park and makes it’s way to our neighborhood Senior community, Golden Pond! There is a short stop there so Santa and the elves can collect donate toys for the Toy Drive. All the while having a jolly good time!  Once the Parade gets back on route Santa and his “elves” make their way through the street stopping at their next donation spot on South Port Drive at the famous “Train house”! After a short stop where all can take a great picture opportunity the Parade will set back out on the road to spread more holiday spirit and will be finishing up at the Rosemont Community Park to wrap up the RCA Santa Parade and Toy Drive of the Season!

Each year we try to change the maps so that over the years each street gets to benefit from this joyous event! While we have multiple donation locations it is not required to take your thoughtful gift to one of these locations. As the parade progresses down the streets we would appreciate donations of brand new unwrapped toys which will then be given to the Sacramento Sheriff’s Toy Project. If you would like to donate to Santa as he and the Parade make their way thru the streets please hand the new toy off to one of our “elves’, they will take it to the “Santa sleigh” that has the giant Santa hat on top. As the “Santa sleigh” makes is way down the street collecting donation Santa is not too far behind behind. When giving your donation to an “elf” or to the “Santa Sleigh”, please keep safety in mind and keep children away the moving Parade and trailer. Our safety of our community is the upmost importance to us, especially our smallest community members.

Rosemont has always been generous in supporting those who are in need, and our Annual Toy Drive is a great way to help our children and families that are in need and finding it hard to make ends meet. Our hope is that the toys we collect on the nights of our Toy Drive find their way to children in our area to make their holiday merry and bright. To appreciate that wonderful feeling, just recall how you felt when you got something special under the tree. That’s how some lucky kids are going to feel this year, thanks to our generous donors who helped make the Rosemont community a little more special. If you are unable to donate a New unwrapped toy, you can give a monetary donation directly to the Toy Project by clicking their logo below and donating directly through their page.

For our families that are in need please click the link below to take you to the Toy Project’s website. We have posted their Annual requirements and locations for applying for your convenience.

Our thanks go out to all that make this event possible each year, to our generous community members and the countless “elves” and Santa
