At its June meeting the RCA board adopted a new logo that better expresses the organization’s purpose and the characteristics of our community. Shown above, the new stylized rose also can be seen as a heart, representing the essence and caring of our community, along with our traditional flower identity. The leaves embracing the rose are also hands representing both the volunteer spirit that sustains RCA and our commitment to a green and sustainable community. The new font in the lettering is both bold and easy to read. And the new design can be rendered in various formats, vertical and horizontal, for use in different materials and places. The new logo is the work of a small board committee and the generous pro bono efforts of Kathy Gee, a Rosemont graphic artist, to who RCA is most grateful.
