At its Feb. 4 meeting, among other things the RCA Board…
- Heard a report on County plans to improve landscaping and safety on Folsom Blvd. between Watt and Bradshaw
- Heard a proposal by Capital Christian Center to erect a 10’x20’ electronic sign along Hwy 50 across from the church; the board took no action
- Heard a proposal by SolarCity to provide RCA with a $200 donation for every Rosemont home that installs a solar system resulting from RCA promotion; the board will further consider the proposal.
- Approved a draft letter to the County Board urging funding for several services important to Rosemont.
- Confirmed plans for the annual RCA meeting on May 18, including an election schedule
- Confirmed plans to revise the RCA Face Book neighborhood watch and general bulletin board pages
- Confirmed the restart of the first Friday food trucks, beginning March 4
- Received a status report on two grant projects, teen safe driving and financial literacy
