RCA congratulates Christina Kim of Rosemont High’s Class of ’16 for winning this year’s Rosemont Community Scholarship. Pictured here with her mother and RCA board members Kathy Aldana, Christina had a GPA over 4.0, and was president of the RHS Environmental Club, active in LEAD (Leader Enrichment through Academic Development), and Samulnori (Korean traditional percussion). Her community service work involved setting up performance and programs for the Korean School of Sacramento. She plans to attend UC Irvine in the fall. RCA’s $1,000 scholarship will be credited to her account the school to use for tuition, fees, books, etc. We are pleased that Rosemont has such outstanding students that help our community a place in which we can all take pride. We wish Christina great success as she pursues her education at UCI, and hope she returns to keep building Rosemont.
