Our thanks and congratulations go to the many property owners who are taking advantage of the water shortage to make major changes to their front yards. Without doing a scientific study, it would appear that our community has a higher percentage of homes that are doing serious make-overs and replacing lots of grass with low water consuming plants and landscapes. This is certainly helping make our neighborhoods more attractive – and property values up – and doing much to reduce water use. If you live near one of these many new yards, take a moment to thank your neighbor. And maybe even ask how you might do likewise in your yard. Let’s help Rosemont lead the way in attractive, water-wise landscaping.
