In a beautiful, grassroots show of caring and generosity, some 100 citizens of the Rosemont community and surrounding area donated a large shipment of items to help those in the Sonoma and Napa areas who lost everything in the recent fires. Coordinated by Lanaya Nilsson and assisted by at least five others, they collected and delivered so much that they nearly filled a 16 foot truck. All of this was done with no official or organizational sponsorship – just caring people who wanted to help others. This is in keeping with the reputation of our Rosemont community as being one of the most generous in the Sacramento region. Thanks, Lanaya and everyone involved!
