RCA is wrapping up a series of special programs for our teen drivers and their parents to help them be safe on the road. With a grant to the Rosemont Community Foundation from State Farm, RCA has conducted a number of sessions for budding drivers at Rosemont High, and more importantly for their parents to help them be better role models for their kids. Since parents are the primary influences on children it is important that as adults we be reminded that we are always being watched behind the wheel, and our kids will learn and do what they see us doing. And in addition to the sessions at RHS, the grant also supported several driver safety awareness programs at Einstein Middle School to begin to get those students thinking safety in and around cars. Our great thanks and appreciation to State Farm for supporting this training and helping make Rosemont safer for all.
