Within hours of announcing, RCA began getting signups for the first of its free financial literacy workshops on Wednesday, January 27. This workshop will deal with debt, credit and budgeting, and will be offered by financial professionals with the Financial Planning Association of Northern California. These workshops are being underwritten by a generous grant from State Farm to the Rosemont Community Foundation, RCA’s tax-deductible partner. Future workshops in the series of 10 programs will cover tax planning, education planning, estate planning, and home financing and mortgages, among other topics. The sessions are tentatively planned for the last Wednesday of the month running through October. While the sessions are free, advance registration is required so that space and materials are available. See the article on this web site for more information.
