One of Rosemont’s newest organizations will be hosting a unique event on August 10 to which all are invited – an evening with Rumi and other Sufi masters. The MTO Shahmaghsoudi School of Islamic Sufism will be presenting “An Evening of Mystical Sufi Poetry and Music,” highlighting poetry and stories by some of the greatest Sufi masters of all time, including Jalāl ad-Dīn Rūmī, Hafiz Shirazi , Farid ud-Din Attar, Rabia al-Basra, and others. The evening will also feature samples of Sufi music and humor. All are welcome to this special free event, being held at the school’s new facility at 3506 Eisenhower Drive.
