More than 43 tons of trash were collected in just the Rosemont  area north of Kiefer on March 18. We filled more than 15 large dumpsters with discards and trash at the recent Rosemont Cleanup Day Sponsored by County Code Enforcement, Supervisor Nottoli, and RCA. The event was for those residents north of Kiefer and west of Mayhew, a total of some 3,200 homes. While most of the staffing for it came from the County, a contingent of RCA members helped out off-loading vehicles into various dumpsters for wood, metal, trash, etc. Even E-waste was taken and properly disposed of. This was another example of the good cooperation between the Rosemont community and the County to help keep our neighborhoods attractive and clean. We express our great thanks to Nottoli and the County Code team for their assistance, and we look forward to holding another cleanup day in the future.
