Rosemont hosted the Sacramento Sheriff’s Office on June 20 as law enforcement held it’s Unity In the Community event. It featured displays by many Sheriff units including the K-9 Corps, the Eye in the Sky helicopter, Youth Services, and more. It was a great chance to chat with Sheriff Jones and his officers and learn more about how they are helping protect us, and more importantly, how we can help them help us stay safe. And we also learned that the deputies can cook up a great meal on their super barbecue trailer. No one went away hungry, for sure. We look forward to welcoming the SSD back next year.
