Our water provider, California American Water, has offered some updates and tips regarding our water supply situation and actions we can take to conserve water. As they note, the good news is that we rely primarily on groundwater here Rosemont and our supply situation is much better than those communities that rely on surface water – particularly those communities served by water from Folsom Lake. The bad news is that without rain our groundwater supplies will not recharge at the same rate and we expect more water agencies and individuals to use groundwater.
