The 7th Annual Rosemont Community Celebration at Rosemont Community Park goes down in one week. This event keeps growing bigger and bigger every year so please come out and enjoy some free food and activities on August 22nd from 9:30 AM to 2 PM. RCA anticipates that over 60 organizations will have booths detailing their services and products that benefit the Rosemont community.
Some of the organizations include:
- Local nonprofits and community organizations
- Public safety – Sac County Sheriff, CA Highway Patrol & Sac Metro Fire
- Local businesses – traditional and home-based
- Sidewalk CPR
- Animal Shelter BAT Mobile
- Little Neighborhood Library
In addition to the community organization, some of your elected officials will be in attendance. The following elected officials are planning to be in attendance:
- US Congressman Ami Bera
- State Senator Richard Pan
- State Assemblyman Ken Cooley
- County Supervisor Don Nottoli
- 1st Vice President Board of Education SCUSD Christina Pritchett
- CRPD Board Members Rick Sloan and Terri Leimbach
In addition to the booths, the Community Celebration will have these food and fun activities for you and your family to enjoy:
- Free Hot Dogs and Snow Cones
- Live Stage Entertainment
- Bounce House
- Trackless Train
- Pony Rides
- Photo Booth
- Lawn Games
- Face Painting
RCA members, be sure to check in at the RCA Membership booth. There will be a special gift for RCA members that are current on their membership, as well as for those who renew or sign up for membership during the Celebration.
Still not convinced on attending? A raffle will be held that will give away free gifts and prizes, including a new flat screen TV!!! Entrees must be a current RCA member. Check in at the membership booth for more details.
