Recently we’ve noticed an increasing number of posts on Rosemont social media about crime issues, with the question whether we should explore hiring a private security patrol to help make our community safer. There are several neighborhoods in the Sacramento area that have hired such a service, and the question posed is whether we should do likewise. The RCA Board will discuss this idea at its October 5th meeting, and if you have thoughts on this matter we urge you to attend. Obviously, a big question is how we would pay for such a service, and exactly what would we expect of it. If you have ideas please join the discussion with your suggestions. The meeting will be at 7:00pm at Atonement Church, 9242 Kiefer Blvd.
