There was much ado about a lot on the Einstein Middle School campus on Wednesday and Thursday. May 20 & 21, as students presented a creative version of Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing. Actually, it was titled Much Ado About Nothing – Punk. Updated to a contemporary setting and put in a large urban, east-coast scene, skate boards, colored hair, and matching punk costumes gave a lively rendition of classic and famous Shakespeare lines. The talented cast proved the abilities of our middle school students. Even the creative staging and tech work demonstrated what these students can do. Congratulations to all involved in this success. And a word to the community: don’t miss their next production, whatever it is.
