PLEASE NOMINATE THEM FOR THE SACRAMENTO COUNTY 5 OVER 50 AWARD! SPONSORED BY SACRAMENTO COUNTY ADULT AND AGING COMMISSION
Application Deadline: February 15, 2023
Our mission is to honor volunteers over age 50 who contribute to the health and vitality of the Sacramento County community through volunteer work that makes our county a great place to live. Awards will be presented in May 2023, coinciding with the recognition of Older Americans Month.

CRITERIA FOR NOMINEES 

• Age 50 or older
• Attained their achievement when they were 50 or older
• A current resident of Sacramento County
• Applications will be evaluated according to the candidate’s volunteer experience, years of service, other merits or awards, and letters of recommendation or reference
• Members of the Adult and Aging Commission are not eligible for nomination

TIMELINE
• Applications are due by February 15, 2023

• Applicants will be notified of the outcome before March 31, 2023

• Awards will be announced in May 2023

• Location, date, and further event details will be posted on the Sacramento County Adult and Aging Commission website
